Rapper Kanye West helped raise $1 million for the family of DMX by selling tribute shirts.

DMX, a rapper and close friend of West, died earlier this month. His real name was Earl Simmons.

The shirts were commissioned through West's Yeezy brand and sold for $200 a piece. The proceed from the shirt — which sold out in 24 hours — will be given to DMX's family.
