Reflecting his earnest and repeated insistences that he has turned a religious corner in his life, Kanye West’s latest album is composed entirely of Christian-centric music, one reviewer claims.
Kanye’s latest album, Jesus is King, appears heavily influenced by his new faith, writes Kevin Perry at The Face. He said that all of the songs include “allusions to God” and there is no swearing at all on the album.
One song, “Closed on Sunday,” underscores the biblical command to honor the Sabbath and keep it holy. The lyrics of that song repeatedly refer to Chick-fil-A, the fast-food chain that is also famously closed on Sundays.
