Controversial comedian Kathy Griffin Tuesday night suggested that President Trump stab himself with a syringe full of air — a medical procedure proven to be fatal.
Griffin's violent post was in response to a tweet from CNN White House Correspondent Jim Acosta, who wrote: "Trump at diabetes event at WH: ‘I don't use insulin. Should I be?'"
"Syringe with nothing but air inside it would do the trick," Griffin said.
The Washington Examiner responded to Griffin's comments, saying that a syringe full of air can be fatal.
"In medical procedures, air accidentally injected into the body's bloodstream through syringes or IVs can cause air embolisms, which can be fatal," The Washington Examiner said.
Griffin retweeted the article, boasting about her call for Trump to be killed.
