Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and other Democratic leaders urged their fellow Democrats to conduct themselves with grace after the vote to impeach President Trump passes, telling them "don't cheer" and "keep it solemn."

Axios reports that an unnamed Democrat "from a Trump-won district" reportedly relayed the orders from party leaders to fellow caucus members. CNN reporter Manu Raju also tweeted that Pelosi "instructed her caucus to show unity and not to gloat at all during the proceedings."

The House is on the verge of impeaching the president, only the third time in the nation's history it will have happened. It is widely assumed that the Senate will acquit Trump in a quick turnaround.
