Sports and political commentator Keith Olbermann has called for the arrest of Fox News's Tucker Carlson, saying the talk show host had called for inciting violence.

In a now-deleted tweet originally published Thursday night, Olbermann said that Tucker had made an "overt and unmistakable call for widespread violence."

Carlson's comment during his November 5 show was a quote from retired Army colonel Lawrence Wilkerson on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher."

Carlson was quoting Wilkerson, who said on August 7 that: "If Trump calls his base to the streets with their guns — his base owns something like 60 to 70% of the 300, 400 million guns in America. If they answer that call and come to the streets with guns, then we probably are going to have a need for the military. And then all bets are off as to how much blood blood might flow."
