Iranian Christian activist Mary Fatemeh Mohammadi has reportedly been released on bail from a prison in Qarchak, just days before her court hearing on Monday.

Mohammadi was originally arrested on January 12 after a protest near Azadi Square in Tehran. She was charged with "disturbing the public order and for participating in an illegal rally."

The Iranian activist was reportedly tortured and beaten during her time in prison.
