Although Ohio State University's J.K. Dobbins is well-known for his considerable athletic talents on the football field, the nationally famous running back's personal story is even more impressive than the 1,657 yards he has already rushed this season: Dobbins is a "miracle baby" whose mother chose life instead of aborting him at age 18.

A Fox sports anchor shared Dobbins' story during last Saturday's game between the Buckeyes and the University of Michigan Wolverines. Dobbins' mother, who became pregnant at 18, had arrived at a doctor's intent on getting an abortion, before ultimately walking away from the procedure. She gave birth to Dobbins instead.

The junior was named the 2017 Big Ten Championship MVP for a marathon 174-yards rushing.
