American documentary filmmaker and activist Michael Moore is praising rioters in Minneapolis for "burning down the evil police precinct" in response to the death of George Floyd, calling the protesters "good citizens."
"Good citizens burning down the evil police precinct in [Minnesota] after all police were out [and] safe. All police should go home. No violence please. Police HQ must be demolished by the city tomorrow as a show of contrition to black America. Rebuild PD with decent kind [people], aka [people] of color," Moore tweeted.
Moore posted a follow up tweet, citing other incidents of police brutality against black people.
"White Minnesota — you've told us quite clearly: 'Police murder of black people is OK!' Georgia: 'Hunting [and] Murdering Black [people] is cool.' Kentucky: 'Cops plugging [eight] bullets into a black woman in the middle of the night in her own home is a beautiful thing!' Riots? This is rebellion," Moore's tweet reads.
