Former First Lady Michelle Obama congratulated Princeton University for its decision to remove Woodrow Wilson's name from its public policy school.
The university's Board of Trustees voted last week to remove the former president's name from Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and Wilson College due to his "racist thinking and policies."
Obama tweeted that she was "heartened" by her alma mater's decision and encouraged "finding ways to be more inclusive to all students" at schools across the country.
? Her praise came just hours after President Trump slammed Princeton for its "incredible stupidity" in dropping Wilson's name from the prestigious public affairs school.
