During a Saturday podcast interview, University of Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh said "there can't be anything more horrendous" than abortion when discussing the sanctity of life during the coronavirus pandemic.
While talking with National Review's senior editor Jay Nordlinger, Harbaugh discussed several topics, including coaching football and the impact of COVID-19.
He also spoke candidly about his faith in God and how it can motivate a person to view others as being made in the image of God.
"Even now, as we all go through what we're going through with COVID-19, I see people more concerned about others. You see people taking more of a view of sanctity of life. And I hope that can continue," Harbaugh said.
This led him to comment about the contradiction of talking about the sanctity of life while still promoting abortion.
"And lastly, abortion. We talk about sanctity of life, yet we live in a society that aborts babies," he said. "There can't be anything more horrendous."
