More than a quarter of black voters say that black voters who choose President Trump over Joe Biden are not actually black, according to a new survey by Rasmussen Reports.
The survey follows Biden's remarks last week, where he told a black talk show host that if he has "a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black."
The report shows that only 13% of all voters agree that a black voter who chooses Trump over Biden is not really black. Seventy-three percent disagree and 14% are undecided.
A further breakdown of the data shows that 27% of black voters, as well as 17% of Democrats, agree with Biden's statement. Just 12% of black voters and 19% of Democrats are undecided.
The survey also showed that those under the age of 40 (23%) are more likely than middle-aged voters (8%) and seniors (5%) to agree with Biden's statements.
