Washington Nationals catcher Kurt Suzuki delighted crowds at the White House on Monday by donning a MAGA hat before stepping up to the podium, an action that garnered a hug from President Trump.

Video of the event shows Trump praising Suzuki’s "amazing three-run homer" that helped make the Nationals into World Series champs. Trump then called Suzuki up to the podium, at which point the catcher slung on a Make America Great Again cap to cheers from the crowd.
