National radio company Cumulus Media informed the employees of its 416 stations last Wednesday that any staff who dispute the results of the 2020 presidential election will be terminated.
In addition to its local hosts, Cumulus Media releases programs made by popular conservative hosts Ben Shapiro, Dan Bongino, and Mark Levin.
"We need to help induce national calm NOW," said a memo from Brian Philips, the executive vice president of content. "[Cumulus] will not tolerate any suggestion that the election has not ended. The election has been resolved and there are no alternate acceptable ‘paths.'"
Philips went on to say that anyone violating this policy "can expect to separate from the company immediately."
🔦 The move follows the riot at the U.S. Capitol Building last week.
