The lead negotiator for the Arab-Israeli peace plan announced he will be leaving the White House soon, raising questions about President Trump’s efforts to resolve Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Jason Greenblatt said in a statement that it has been “the honor of a lifetime.” He originally planned to only serve two years, but he extended his stay as the plan was stalled. He is now stepping down to spend more time with his family.
