An upcoming Marvel movie will feature both a gay married couple and an on-screen same-sex kiss for the first time in the studio's history, according to an actor who portrays one of the gay characters.
Haaz Sleiman confirmed to media that in the movie "The Eternals," due to be released in November, he plays the spouse of Phastos, a member of a semi-ageless race called Eternals. In addition to being married, the two homosexual superheroes will reportedly have a child together.
Describing the kiss between the two characters, Sleiman called it "beautiful" and "very moving." He further claimed that "everybody cried on set" when witnessing it.
