News outlets make up 12 out of America’s 15 most polarized brands

Of the 15 brands found to be most polarized according to a new poll by Morning Consult, 12 are news outlets.

The favorability divide between CNN and Fox News — the two most polarized outlets among Democrats and Republicans — has grown even further since last year. CNN currently has an 80-point gap in how the brand is viewed by members of each party, compared to a 66-percentage point gap last year. Fox News currently has a 72-point gap.

Trump Hotels, Nike, and Smith & Wesson are also included in the list of 15 brands. Trump Hotels is considered to be the most polarizing brand of all, with an 86-point difference.
