Two young Catholic women were killed in southern Kaduna state, Nigeria, by Muslim Fulani herdsman on Friday, according to sources familiar with the event.
The militants rode into Gora-Gan village in Zango Kataf County on motorbikes around 5 p.m. and shot villagers on sight. A spokesman for the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union confirmed the death of two teenagers: Briget Philip, 18, and Priscilla David, 19. Both girls were congregants at the Catholic parish in Gora-Gan.
Also injured in the attack were Henry Jonathan, 18; Benjamin Peter, 19; and Goodluck Andawus, 12.
