Nike's new Colin Kaepernick jersey, commemorating four years since Kaepernick first took a knee during the national anthem before an NFL game, sold out in less than a minute.
The jersey is listed at $150 retail price.
"[Kaepernick has] used his platform as an athlete to help advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities," Nike's product page for the jersey says. "Through his continuous commitment, the number 7 jersey has become an iconic symbol for progress and positive change."
"Four years ago, I took a knee to protest against systemic racism and social injustice," Kaepernick said. "It was that day that the number on my jersey would come to represent something greater than football, something greater than me."
