Oklahoma State University football coach Mike Gundy is taking a $1 million pay cut, losing a year on his contract, and seeing his guaranteed money dip from 75% to 50%, all as an apparent punishment for being photographed wearing a One America News Network T-shirt while on vacation.

Seeing a picture of his coach donning a shirt of President Trump's preferred news channel that has criticized the Black Lives Matter movement angered OSU's star running back Chuba Hubbard, who took his concerns straight to Twitter.

Within hours, many of Hubbard's teammates had joined college football's leading rusher in 2019, provoking university officials to promise a response. The seven-figure reduction in the coach's salary appears to be part of that.

Oklahoma State's Athletic Director Mike Holder made the announcement, indicating that Gundy had proposed all the cuts as a sign of his "humble and remorseful" attitude about the incident.
