On Wednesday morning, the day that House Democrats will vote to impeach him, President Trump took to Twitter to express his disbelief and to ask for prayer:
"Can you believe that I will be impeached today by the Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats, AND I DID NOTHING WRONG!" the president wrote. "A terrible Thing. Read the Transcripts. This should never happen to another President again. Say a PRAYER!"
The House will spend most of Wednesday debating the two articles of impeachment before voting on them in the evening.
The previous evening, Trump fired off a scathing letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, calling the impeachment proceedings "perversion of justice and abuse of power."
