Prosperity gospel preacher Paula White, who is called President Trump’s “personal pastor” and now serves in his administration, promised followers in her newsletter Thursday “sudden defeat over your enemies” in return for a donation of $229 to her ministry.

“I decree a prophetic instruction for a SUDDEN DEFEAT OVER YOUR ENEMIES! Victory is yours,” the email said. In order to attain the “victory,” White told followers to send her $229, referencing 1 Chronicles 22:9, which says,

“Behold, a son shall be born to you who shall be a man of rest. I will give him rest from all his surrounding enemies. For his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel in his days.”

“It is a specific seed, numbers are important to God,” White wrote. “I believe that God was very clear when I received this word that the $229 seed given in faith can break any chains.”

White also promised to send donors a teaching series focused on “legal maneuvering of the spirit realms,” as well as a bottle of “anointing oil” she claims to have personally prayed over. She instructed followers to “apply the anointing oil to your head, loved ones, house, vehicle, even your checkbook- anywhere you feel attack!!”
