Paula White, the adviser for the administration’s Faith and Opportunity Initiative and personal pastor to President Trump, said Sunday evening that special blessings await those who donate to her ministry. White was holding a special service called “power night” where congregants will be given a unique opportunity to tithe with promises of “visions” to follow.
“I want you to hear from God. God already spoke to me,” White said. “You’re going to write your checks to Paula White ministry because this is power night.”
After explaining various ways to donate White said that “every single person gets something significant.”
White then prayed and challenged congregants to build an altar that they would use to sacrifice money to God: “…that altar, maybe that’s a sacrifice of $50 or $100. Maybe it’s $1,000.”
🔦 White is controversial even among evangelicals, as many consider her material prosperity theology to be outside the bounds of orthodox doctrine.
