For the first time in decades, the classic "Peanuts" holiday specials will not air on television due to an exclusive partnership with Apple announced Monday.

The specials, including "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," "A Charlie Brown Christmas," and "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" will only be available on the company's premium video streaming service, Apple TV+.

The Halloween special will be available for free from October 30 to November 1 on the platform. Similarly, the Thanksgiving special will be free from November 25-27 and the Christmas special from December 11-13.

Apple is also creating new "Peanuts" specials for holidays such as Mother's Day, Earth Day, and New Year's Eve. The streaming service costs $4.99 a month.

🔦 The Halloween special first aired on CBS in 1966, followed by ABC since 2001.
