A convicted pedophile priest was moved to a church hosting a children's summer camp after a report by CNN exposed new allegations against him, according to investigations by the network.

The Belgian priest, Luk Delft, was convicted of child abuse in 2012 for an incident that took place in 2001. CNN learned earlier this year that two boys in the Central African Republic, where Delft oversaw a Catholic charity, had accused the priest of further abuse.

Delft was recalled to Belgium following those allegations, but upon arrival he was housed in a church property at which a children's summer camp was taking place at the same time.

Another priest in Belgium said that Delft was "kept apart from minors" during his stay and that his freedom of movement while on the property was restricted.
