After Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced late Wednesday evening that Article One of the impeachment had been adopted, a handful of Democrats began cheering and clapping in approval.
Pelosi quickly glared in their direction, advising them to "behave," in an effort to keep the impeachment hearings somber and civil.
Prior to President Trump's impeachment, Pelosi had instructed Democrats not to celebrate if either of the articles were adopted.
Article Two, which charges Trump with obstructing Congress, was also approved. He will now face the Republican-dominated Senate early next year to determine whether or not he should be removed from office.
