Pelosi suffers 10-second brain freeze at beginning of press conference

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suffered a 10-second-long mental lapse at the beginning of a press conference Thursday about ongoing protests in America, looking bewildered and seemingly unable to grasp a thought until she turned her attention to a letter she was holding and began reading it.


🔦 Pelosi, 80, is second in the line of presidential succession behind Vice President Mike Pence. Should both President Trump and Vice President Pence die, resign, be removed from office, or somehow become incapacitated, Speaker Pelosi would become president of the United States.
