A photo of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's notes captured by an Associated Press photographer on Tuesday may suggest that the top choice for his 2020 running mate is Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA).

The photograph shows a section of Biden's handwritten notes titled "Kamala Harris" followed by a number of attributes listed below.

  • "Do not hold grudges"
  • "Campaigned with me & Jill"
  • "Talented"
  • "Great help to campaign"
  • "Great respect for her"

Additionally, a Politico report published Tuesday evening said that Biden had already chosen Harris as his running mate.

"Joe Biden chose Kamala Harris to become his running mate for the 2020 election on Aug. 1, two weeks before the Democratic National Convention, after keeping his choice close to the chest for months," Politico wrote.

The outlet has since removed the article and issued an apology, saying they regretted the "error and any confusion that it caused."

Politico's vice president of marketing and communication Brad Dayspring also told Fox News that the "placeholder text" for Harris was accidentally published.

"Our standard practice is to use 'lorem ipsum' as placeholder text. In this instance, that did not happen. We regret the error and any confusion that it caused," Dayspring said.

? Earlier in July, the Wikipedia page of Harris experienced an aggressive amount of edits, leading to speculation that Biden was leaning toward choosing her for his running mate.
