The news website Politico published and then altered a vulgar headline on Friday related to the Donald Trump impeachment, a decision a website spokesperson said was normal and routine.

“Just Another Day in F—nutsville” read the headline over the article. The piece focused on what the writer called “the death of solemnity” in American politics. Several hours after its publication, the headline was altered to exclude the vulgarity.

A spokeswoman for Politico later told The Daily Wire that the website routinely changes headlines for “a variety of reasons.”
