Nearly 4 in 10 registered American voters believe former Vice President and Democratic nominee for president Joe Biden has dementia, according to a recent Rasmussen poll.

The poll surveyed 1,000 people registered voters. Results show that 38% of respondents believe Biden has dementia and that 61% believe he should address the issue with the American public.

Biden has made a slew of nonsensical verbal gaffes during his campaign for the 2020 presidential election, which have contributed to speculation about his mental fitness. One example includes Biden saying that 120 million people have died from COVID-19. The actual number of coronavirus deaths in the United States is around 129,000, according to Johns Hopkins University.
