The daily IBD/TIPP tracking polls, which was one of the most accurate polls of the 2016 election, show that Joe Biden's lead over President Trump slipped almost three points overnight.
Nationally, Biden fell from a seven-point lead to a 4.4-lead. The Democratic nominee currently has 50.7% support over Trump's 46.3% support.
"The latest Biden vs. Trump poll from IBD/TIPP suggests the race has become competitive with just one week to go. President Donald Trump's support has surpassed his 2016 share of the vote in the IBD/TIPP presidential poll update, while Vice President Joe Biden appears to have lost ground among some key groups," reported IBD/TIPP.
Democrats currently have a six-point lead in Arizona, a seven-point lead in Florida, a 10-point lead in North Carolina and a seven-point lead in Pennsylvania. Republicans have a two-point lead in Michigan, a five-point lead in Wisconsin, a seven-point lead in Georgia, and a nine-point lead in Ohio.
