Only 2% of likely voters surveyed in a recent Politico-Morning Consult national poll support rapper Kanye West in his presidential candidacy, the survey results show.
More people — 9% of respondents — said they had "no opinion" on whom to vote for in the upcoming presidential election. Former Vice President Joe Biden lead the poll with 49% of respondents saying they support his candidacy, while President Trump had the support of 40% of respondents.
So far, West is only on the ballot in a few states.
The poll surveyed 1,983 people on August 9 and 10, before Biden named Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) as his vice presidential pick. The survey's margin of error is plus or minus 2 percentage points.
