Polling from Firehouse Strategies shows that President Trump has surged in key battleground states as the Democrats' impeachment proceedings unfold, pulling ahead in hypothetical matchups against all Democratic presidential candidates.

Trump is currently polling in the lead position in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin against former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Mayor of South Bend, Indiana, Pete Buttigieg,

Trump's closest contender is Biden, although the president has an average lead of six percentage points.

The president is polling ahead of Biden in Michigan by five percentage points, Sanders by six points, Warren by nine points, Buttigieg by 11 points, and Bloomberg by 11 points.

In Pennsylvania, Trump leads Biden by four percentage points, Warren by seven points, Sanders by 11 points, Buttigieg by six points, and Bloomberg by four points. Bloomberg's best performance was in Pennsylvania.

Trump held a double-digit lead over the Democratic candidates in Wisconsin, leading Biden by nine percentage points, Warren by 12 points, Sanders by 13 points, Buttigieg by 11 points, and Bloomberg by 12 points.

The poll also found that more than half of voters in each of three states did not support both the impeachment and removal of Trump from office.
