President Joe Biden elicited concern after stumbling twice before eventually falling down on his trip up the long staircase to Air Force One on Friday.
The White House quickly announced that Biden was doing "100% fine" after his fall. White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield assured that the president required no medical attention afterwards.
Though Biden is far from the only president to struggle climbing stairs to Air Force One, he is the oldest president in American history. When Biden's predecessor, Donald Trump descended a ramp slowly during his term, media speculation swirled around potential medical conditions that could have caused his sluggish pace.
It remains to be seen whether this event will engender similar media and public attention.
