Protesters on Tuesday rallied in support of a mother arrested for bringing her children to a playground in defiance of Idaho's stay-at-home order, an arrest which brought with it a charge of trespassing.
Police in Meridian, Idaho, took Sara Brady, 40, into custody when she refused to leave a public playground that had been closed down by local authorities. Brady was part of a group of parents who had broken the shutdown to allow their children to play on the equipment.
Demonstrators later picketed City Hall to protest Brady's arrest. She was released on bail shortly after being booked at the local police station.
