As the fallout from the Ravi Zacharias sexual misconduct scandal continues to unfold, it appears that the massive Christian apologetics organization will soon cease to exist.

According to World magazine reporter Emily Belz, the CEO of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries and daughter of the late founder, Sarah Davis, announced Monday morning that the organization cannot continue in its present form. Employees were informed that layoffs would begin Thursday.

Davis had previously announced on Saturday that her father's name would be removed from the ministry and that all of his content would be purged from the website. That apparently was just the first step towards a complete transformation of the organization away from what had been one of the most recognizable and influential Christian apologetics ministries in the world.

In a remarkable display of grace, Lori Anne Thompson, the Canadian woman whose willingness to break her silence regarding her abuse at the hands of Zacharias began the evangelist's public, if posthumous, downfall, issued a call for prayer on behalf of Ms. Davis.
