Remains of additional preborn babies were found Wednesday morning on property connected to the late abortion doctor Ulrich Klopfer. Remains of over 2,000 aborted babies were originally found at his Illinois home in September after he died.
The additional remains were found by family members searching through cars stored on a business property in Dolton, Illinois. There were considerably fewer remains than previously found, said Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill, although he did not give an exact number.
Klopfer performed abortions in South Bend, Gary, and Fort Wayne.
Investigators found five plastic bags and one box containing remains stored in the trunk of an older Mercedes Benz.
Women who may be impacted by the discovery can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 317-234-6663. The email and phone number were set up by the AG’s office.
Hill said the exact number of remains should be clear in the coming days.
