Former President Donald Trump is planning to campaign against 10 House Republicans that are pro-impeachment, according to six sources cited by Business Insider.
"I'm sure he wants to get out a roulette wheel with all their faces on it," one of the sources said.
The 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump last month were:
- Jaime Herrera Beutler (WA)
- Liz Cheney (WY)
- Anthony Gonzalez (OH)
- John Katko (NY)
- Adam Kinzinger (IL)
- Peter Meijer (MI)
- Dan Newhouse (WA)
- Tom Rice (SC)
- Fred Upton (MI)
- David Valadao (CA)
Sources also say Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) could be a target for Trump.
"On the day of the riots, President Trump's words incited violence," Murkowski said in January. "Such unlawful actions cannot go without consequence and the House has responded swiftly, and I believe, appropriately, with impeachment."
Last month, Trump encouraged South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem to campaign against Republican Sen. John Thune (R-SD) in the 2022 primaries. Thune opposed Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election result.
