The Republican National Committee raised a mammoth $27.3 million in September, a record-setting month for the organization and leaps and bounds beyond what the Democratic machine has gathered.
The RNC reports $59.2 million cash-in-hand, while the Democratic National Committee says it is $7.3 million in debt. September was the most successful off-season fundraising push in the history of either political party.
The Trump campaign, meanwhile, has professed a “war chest” of more than $125 million.
🔦 The staggering Republican fundraising effort likely reflects the elevated concerns of conservative voters who want to counteract Democrats’ growing impeachment efforts.
