Rioters in Portland took down statues of former Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln on Sunday during a protest dubbed the "Indigenous Peoples Day of Rage" by organizers.
Participants in the riot also smashed windows at Portland State University's police office, the Oregon Historical Society, and some businesses.
Some rioters were dressed in all-black and wearing masks, and several known Antifa members and groups were present.
Video footage shows rioters using chains to pull down the Roosevelt statue to the ground.
A Black Lives Matter group said that a Lincoln statue was also torn down because "it was Lincoln who ordered the largest mass execution in American history."
It was not clear if any arrests were made.
