A preliminary report produced by a law firm hired by Ravi Zacharias International Ministries has confirmed previous reports that the well-known international apologist Ravi Zacharias sexually abused numerous women over a period of several years.
As a result of the report, RZIM notified its own staff, donors, and other supporters that there is "convincing and credible" evidence of Zacharias's sexual misconduct.
The law firm Miller & Martin has said that the final report will be released in January, warning RZIM's board that several of the victims spoke "candidly and with great detail."
Allegations from massage therapists who worked in two separate Atlanta spas partially owned by Zacharias have allegedly been confirmed by the report, but the firm stressed that investigators are continuing to pursue other leads.
Sarah Davis, Ravi Zacharias's daughter and RZIM's CEO, issued a statement acknowledging that she and the entire ministry "grieve profoundly with those who have suffered from Ravi's sexual misconduct" and asking supporters and staff pray for them.
"We know this news will send all of us, and thousands of others, into grief, confusion, disillusionment, and anger," she continued. "We know that you will have many questions, as we all do as well."
The ministry believes the final report on Zacharias's misconduct will answer some of those questions.
