Salesforce is the latest company to join the purge of Republican and Trump-supporting content users, blocking all campaign emails from President Trump since January 6 in order to prevent "violence."

ExactTarget is the email marketing firm whose infrastructure is utilized by the Republican National Committee and Trump campaign to regularly contact millions of their supporters. Salesforce, the parent company that owns ExactTarget, acknowledged that it had "taken action" in an attempt to preempt any future attempt at stoking violence.

The Trump campaign message which appears to have triggered the censorious response was one sent by Team Trump on January 6, moments before the protests at Capitol Hill turned into riots.

"We have the TRUTH," the fundraising email read. "Every single Patriot from across the Country must step up RIGHT NOW if we're going to successfully DEFEND the integrity of this Election. President Trump is calling on YOU to bolster our Official Defend America Fund."

No further emails have come from the account.

Salesforce acknowledged in a statement that the RNC had been a "long-standing customer, pre-dating the current Administration," but still feared the "risk of politically incited violence." No mention was made as to when, or if, the services would be restored.

🔦 Salesforce has a corporate reputation of strongly favoring left-wing social and political causes.
