Sanders campaign raised more than $34.5 million in 4th quarter

Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign brought in more than $34.5 million in the fourth quarter, surpassing both former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and entrepreneur Andrew Yang.

Buttigieg raised $24.7 million during the quarter, while Yang's campaign brought in $16.5 million.

The independent senator of Vermont raised more than $18 million in December, making it his best month in the election cycle, according to his campaign. Sanders' campaign said on Wednesday that it had received contributions from 5 million people during the election cycle.
