At Friday night's Democratic debate in New Hampshire, 2020 hopeful Bernie Sanders vowed to make pro-abortion credentials his "litmus test" for prospective Supreme Court and federal judges if he is elected president. He also promised to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law and give Planned Parenthood "significantly" more taxpayer dollars:

"You asked a simple question: 'Is there a litmus test for those of us up here?' For me, there is. I will never nominate any person to the Supreme Court or the federal courts in general who is not 100 percent pro-Roe v. Wade.

Number two: We have got to codify Roe v. Wade into legislation.

Number three: We have to significantly expand funding for Planned Parenthood."

🔦 Planned Parenthood, which performs nearly 350,000 abortions each year, already receives $617 million from the federal government per annum.
