An advocacy group created in the wake of the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre has released a brutal and chilling video depicting a school shooting in an effort to generate support for its mission.
The video, put out by Sandy Hook Promise, depicts students running from shooters, breaking windows open, hiding in bathroom stalls, and applying tourniquets to classmates’ wounds.
The material is presented as if it were a back-to-school video.
“This jacket is a real must-have,” one student says as she uses her overcoat to secure a door against a shooter.
Sandy Hook Promise says its mission is to promote “programs and practices that protect children from gun violence.”
