A Swedish scientist recently suggested eating human flesh as a way to fight global climate change.

Magnus Söderlund, a Stockholm School of Economics professor and researcher, hosted a panel called “Can You Imagine Eating Human Flesh?” at the Gastro Summit. He argued that “conservative” taboos against cannibalism could change over time and that eating human meat from dead bodies could be an option in food sustainability.

Soderlund also suggested eating pets and insects as an alternative.
