Mike Pompeo, the secretary of state for the Trump administration, is slamming Democratic conduct pursuant to their impeachment probe of President Trump, claiming Democrats are attempting to “bully” and “intimidate” Republicans on Capitol Hill.

Pompeo said in a letter he would “not tolerate” the behavior of congressional liberals, whom he also accused of raising several “legal and procedural” issues pursuant to the probe.

Pompeo in the letter said Democrats’ timeline for interview requests was “demonstrably inadequate.” He urged them to exercise restraint in the course of the probe.

? Democrats began an impeachment probe into President Trump following the controversy surrounding his phone call to the Ukrainian president. Congressional liberals have been discussing impeachment of the president since before he took office.
