Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) on Tuesday called for a major investigation into the pornography website Pornhub, claiming the company is failing to monitor and remove videos of women and children being raped and exploited.

Sasse made the entreaty to Attorney General William Barr, urging him to take action against "the exploitation of human trafficking victims in pornography streamed over the Internet."

In the letter, the senator cited atrocities such as a 15-year-old girl who had been kidnapped and repeatedly raped, with her rapist uploading dozens of videos of the attacks to Pornhub.

? Activists in recent months have been calling for Pornhub to be shut down due to its history of exploitative content.
