Sen. Ted Cruz slams Justin Timberlake over bailout money for rioters

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz slammed pop music star and actor Justin Timberlake after he encouraged fans to follow his lead and donate to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, an organization that is providing bail money to arrested protesters.

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino also blasted Timberlake, posting a video on Twitter of a group of rioters beating a woman outside of a business in Rochester, NY and asking, "Is @jtimberlake going to bail them out?"

Cruz' tweet came on the heels of another night in which rioters burned, looted, and destroyed local businesses in response to the death of George Floyd.

Both President Trump and Attorney General William Barr have said that many of the violent protesters appear to be associated with radical left groups, including Antifa.
