Agents of the communist Chinese government raided a church in Shanghai last Sunday during worship service, expelling all members and closing down the church.

The officials accused the worshipers of conducting religious activities in an unapproved location. According to Chinese regulations, religious activities may only take place in approved venues, which are then monitored by the authorities.

According to ChinaAid, around 200 Christians refused to leave after being thrown out of the building, and stood in the cold outside the church, continuing to sing and worship.
