SiriusXM to allow free streaming through the middle of May

Streaming service SiriusXM will open up its channels for free streaming from now until May 15 in an effort to help millions of people relax while they remain at home during the coronavirus pandemic.

Hundreds of millions of Americans are currently on some form of government-mandated lockdown in an effort to slow the spread of the virus. The company said on Tuesday that it wants "to help make staying at home sound a little bit better."

🔦 Multiple media companies, including Amazon and Apple, have opened up their digital technologies for free viewing during the lockdowns.
